Welcome to our Life Kitchen cookery class booking page

Our aim is to help people with cancer or taste loss to rediscover their love of food. We focus on taste and flavour, but our philosophy is about teaching people to enjoy food again.  We explain the science behind taste and smell, and give tips on how to enhance cooking using umami, layering and texture. We also have a lot of fun.

You’ll be cooking the food yourself at your own cooking station, dishes such as our signature pineapple tacos, parmesan cod or marmite cheddar crumpets. Everyone sits together to enjoy the food. We find that people share their food experience, their cancer journey and there is always a lot of laughter. It’s an informal, positive and enjoyable environment.

Covid-19 - Life Kitchen Cookery

At Life Kitchen the welfare of our guests and staff is of the utmost importance. After taking trusted advice from Public Health England and other government bodies with regard to COVID-19, it is with regret that we will be re-scheduling all upcoming classes until a later date.
